Exhibitor Information

This is a weekend event, April 26 & 27, 2008, Saturday & Sunday, in the Parthenon Ballroom Center at the Alexis Park Resort Hotel, conveniently located ½ mile east of the Strip at 375 East Harmon. There will be approximately 44 exhibitor booths with 3 different booth sizes available. There will be a separate lecture room with a screen for those people who use power point or have slides. Lecturers must bring their own projectors and extension cords. Booth spaces will be marked on the floor. No pipe and drape booths. Please take this into consideration for your signage. The majority of booths will be 10 x 10. There will be a limited number of smaller booths available (8 wide x 6 deep) and five (10 wide x 14 deep).

Electricity
Electricity is available for those who want electricity 5 amp is the basic service. The cost is $30 for the weekend. If you need more electricity, a power drop can be ordered – the cost is $450. If you have any questions please contact us at least 30 days prior to the Fair.
Please review this PDF file containing approved light bulb information. If you have the wrong bulbs, you will not be allowed to use them.

Telephone
If you need telephone access, the cost is $200 per line for the weekend.

Internet
If you need internet access, you’ll have 3 choices:
DSL is $ 450
wireless is $ 750
T-1 is $1200
all prices are per line for the weekend.

Licenses
Clark County requires just about every type of business to be licensed. Click on the links below to find the forms, permits or licenses you will need. You can NOT work in Las Vegas without the appropriate licenses. You MUST show proof of license or permit to participate in the Fair.

IMPORTANT !!!  All out-of-state psychic readers READ THIS  
If you are a sole proprietor operating under your own name you do not need to fill out any additional forms other than the temp- psychic arts business license. (for example: Betty Sue – clairvoyant) 

If you are a DBA you will need to fill out a one page FFN (fictitious name form) form (for example: John Smith dba Light Insights)

If you are a corporation, such as an LLC or INC. You will need to fill out an additional form with the Nevada Secretary of State and an FFN form. (Lindsey Adams Enterprises, LLC) ( If you have questions on this one, email Carol and please include your phone number & the best time to reach you.)

No matter which level you operate your business at, you still must fill out the Nevada Business License form.

In-State or Out-of State must fill out the Nevada Business License Temporary –Psychic Arts license:

Psychic Readers (any modality)
All psychic readers will have to fill out a temporary psychic arts license. All psychic readers will fill out the same form. To make this easier, we are putting the form online so it can be printed out. It will be partially filled out. You will have to fill in your own specific information. Directions will be given for the page. There is also a checklist that will need to be addressed. (It’s pretty simple even though it looks intimidating!) The fee is $ 20, plus the $ 45 application. Reflexologists and Chair Massage 
Are not location specific (chair massage performed by a licensed independent massage therapist) and are allowed to provide their services to people at the Fair.

HealthCare Practitioners / Drugless Practitioners /
Chiropractors / Acupuncurists /etc. 
Other healing arts practitioners are “tied to a specific location”.  If you are “location specific” you can still be an exhibitor at the Las Vegas Holistic Fair. You would not be able to treat people at the Fair. You are allowed to talk with potential clients, hand out information and educate your potential clients. Retail Vendors
Sales tax must be collected and paid on Sunday, April 27, 2008, prior to the end of the Fair. If you are a Nevada vendor we’ll need a copy of your sales tax license or number. If you are out-of-state, you will also pay sales tax under a temporary vendor permit. You do not need to fill out any licenses prior to the Fair. They are provided to you through Belu Olisa Fairs, LLC on Friday, April 25 at Check-In.

Food Samples
Any exhibitor who gives out edible/drinkable samples - If you hand out samples, you must have a permit from the health department www.cchd.org. Each sample must be 2 oz or less. The only exception for needing the permit is individually pre-wrapped samples (So a bowl of individually wrapped candy is fine but a bowl of an opened bag of M&M’s is not ok). Move in date and details
Set-up will be Friday, April 25, 2008 from 3 pm - 9 pm. Please see directions, map and parking details.

Booth Furnishings, Tables and Chairs
Tables (6 or 8 foot) are available for $ 25 per table for the weekend. Chairs are available at no charge.  Please bring your own table coverings.

Tents  
Those exhibitors with 10 x 10 or larger booths may use EZ-up type tents without the outer covering. If the covering is crucial to your booth set-up, please contact us first.

Cart Services
Exhibitors must carry in their own booth furnishings and products. Please supply your own hand truck (dolly).

Security
There will be overnight security in the Parthenon Ballroom. Exhibitors will be allowed in 1 hour before we open to the public on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Booth Pricing Information - early bird rates end January 31, 2008

Booth spaces are marked on the floor. There is NO pipe and drape. Please take this into consideration when planning your signage and layout.

Booth Rental Fees must be paid in full by January 31, 2008. New registrations after January 31, 2008, must be paid in full with your registration application.

Booth Deposit to reserve your space
A $100 deposit will hold your booth space. The balance must be paid by January 31, 2008 to receive the early bird rate.  The deposit is refundable through November 30, 2007 minus a $20 fee, after that it is non-refundable but able to be applied to your booth fee. All booth fees must be paid in full by January 31, 2008.

Cancellation Policy
Booths cancelled by January 31, 2008 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations after January 31, 2008.
